Administrative/Biographical history: Dinah White acted as companion, carer and amanuensis for Father Littleton Alfred Powys (1902-1954), only son of John Cowper Powys, during his last illness at St Teresa's Private Hospital, Corston, Bath, 1953-1954.


Scope and content/abstract: Letters, 1953-1956, to Dinah White from John Cowper Powys, his brother Littleton Charles Powys, and others; together with printed items, 1954-1987, relating to Father Littleton Alfred Powys and the Powys family.
