CONTEXT

Administrative/Biographical history: Saron Chapel, Cefn-mawr, was founded in 1901. At the time of the survey undertaken by the Welsh Church Commissioners in 1905, there were 24 communicants and 120 adherents. The chapel closed its doors in 1966.

Scope and content/abstract: The fonds comprises a minute book, 1937-1966; financial records, 1937-1966; a Sunday school register, 1961-1966; and a church register, 1937-1966, of Saron Chapel, Cefn-mawr, Denbighshire.
