Administrative/Biographical history: Harold Kay completed an MA, 'The marcher lordships of Wales in the fourteenth century (to 1360) with special reference to the periods of Despenser and Mortimer ascendancy (1317-1330)', at the University of Manchester in 1913.


Scope and content/abstract: Research papers, [c. 1913], of Harold Kay, comprising a manuscript copy of his MA thesis, together with preparatory notes and other research papers including sketch maps of individual lordships prepared by Kay, [c. 1913].
