Administrative/Biographical history: Richard Ellis was organist at the church of St.Mary & St. Nicholas in Beaumaris, Anglesey in the early 19th century until he moved to London in 1848.

Scope and content/abstract: HYMN BOOK: The personal Hymn book of Richard Ellis, Beaumaris, 1810 - 1879. Contains some entries in Diary Form indicating the Socio/Historical circumstances of the day (i.e. Princess Victoria was frequent visitor to Beaumaris Church; TRANSCRIBERS NOTES for the Hymn book of Richard Ellis, Beaumaris, 1810 - 1879. Transcription by Margaret Ellis.
