Administrative/Biographical history: The Grace Aubrey Charity was created by will in 1678, when the sum of £100 was bequested to help the poor of the parish of Bonvilston, Glamorgan. The Mrs Lougher's Charity was established in 1732. Similarly, a sum of £50 was bequested, the interest of which was to be allocated to the poor of the parish.
