Administrative/Biographical history: In June 1920, the first service of the Sachville Avenue Congregational Church, Cardiff, Glamorgan, was held in a converted army hut and in February 1921, the church joined the East Glamorgan Association of the Free Church Council. In April 1939 a new church building was opened. Following the formation of the United Reformed Church in 1972 the church was known as the United Reformed Church, Sachville Avenue, until its closure in July 1986.
