Administrative/Biographical history: Salem Baptist Chapel, Nantyffyllon, Llangynwyd, Glamorgan, began as a branch of Bethania, Maesteg. The first chapel was built in the early 1850s. The membership outgrew the building, and the present chapel replaced it in 1872.
