They accumulated papers relating to their clients' interests in the course of their work.
Scope and content/abstract: Miscellaneous records accumulated by Lake and Horley, mainly relating to Glamorgan and Monmouthshire, 1744-1969, with a few deeds relating to property in Brecknockshire, and items relating to Northamptonshire, 1769, Australia, 1920, and Canada, 1908; includes deeds and papers for the Nant-y-bar estate in Llanfihangel-ynys-Afan, Glamorgan, Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire, and Llanfabon and Barry, Glamorgan, 1895-1907, and the Vachell estate, Cardiff.
