Administrative/Biographical history: Aberdare Citizens Advice Bureau opened in the 1960s. The Mountain Ash Citizens Advice Bureau opened in the late 1970s. Administered independently until the early 1980s, both bureaux were then amalgamated under one management. Since then the offices have continued to operate under the title of Cynon Valley Citizens Advice Bureau.
