Administrative/Biographical history: The Randall Collection is a series of records and documents which were collected by the Randall family of Bridgend. The family have been practicing law in Bridgend since William Richard Randall opened a practice in Nolton Street in the 1880s. Since then, the firm has been practicing under many names including Randall and Cay solicitors, and Randall and Co. Solicitors. The family also acted as land agents for the Earl of Dunraven and were stewards to the manors of Ogmore, Coity Anglia, Coity Wallia, Newcastle and Cefn Cribbwr.
