CONTEXT

Administrative/Biographical history: Llandough-juxta-Cowbridge is an ancient parish in the diocese of Llandaff. It is situated between the parishes of Llanfair and Llanblethian, 8.5 miles East of Bridgend in the Vale of Glamorgan. Its parish church is dedicated to St. Dochdwy, also referred to as St. Cyngar or St. Docheu.
