Administrative/Biographical history: St. Donat's is an ancient parish within the western division of the rural deanery of Lower Groneath in the diocese of Llandaff. It is situated on the coast of the Bristol Channel approximately 6 miles south-west of in the hundred of Ogmore. The parish church is dedicated to St. Donat.
