Administrative/Biographical history: St. Brides-super-Ely is an ancient parish within the rural deanery, archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff. It is situated in the hundred of Dinas Powys, approximately 6 miles north-west of Cardiff and 9 miles noth-east from Cowbridge. The parish church is dedicated to St. Bride.
