Administrative/Biographical history: St. Nicholas is an ancient parish within the rural deanery of in the diocese of Llandaff. It is situated approximately 6 miles west of Cardiff in the hundred of Dinas Powys and encompasses the rural area which surrounds the village of St. Nicholas. The parish church is dedicated to St. Nicholas.
