Administrative/Biographical history: Cor Cochion Caerdydd (Cardiff Reds Choir) were formed in 1983, with the aim of raising awareness and money for 'peace, justice and freedom' using the power of song. They have campaigned for issues such as Cuba Cymru, CND, Campaign Against the Arms Trade, Palestine Solidarity, Mariam Appeal (Iraq), and Liberty in the UK and Overseas. Cor Cochion has close links with the Palestine solidarity campaign (Glamorgan record office D254), and some photographs of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign can be found amongst Cor Cochion Caerdydd's records.
