Scope and content/abstract: Records of Bythway and Son, Pontypool, 1739-1896, comprising deeds, 1739-1896, relating to properties mainly in Trevethin, as well as Abercarn, Abergavenny, Aberystruth, Bassaleg, Bedwas, Bedwellty, Blaenavon, Caerleon, Christchurch, Crumlin, Goetre, Llanbaddock, Llangeview, Llanhilleth, Llanover, Llantillio Pertholey, Llanvair Kilgeddin, Llanvihangel Llantarnam, Llanvihangel Pontymoel, Llanvrechva Lower, Llanvrechva Upper, Llanwenarth, Magor, Mynyddislwyn, Nash, Newport, Panteg, Raglan, Redwick, Risca, St Mellons, Trelleck, Undy, Usk and Whitson, all in Monmouthshire; accounts of Pontypool Inspectors of Police, Trevethin Water Works and Trevethin Surveyors, 1856-1860; records relating to various local businesses, 1857-1884, notably Crumlin Viaduct Works, 1861-1879, J.
