CONTEXT

Administrative/Biographical history: Mrs Sunter Harrison of Wrexham is the author of a series of four books on the Puleston family of Emral in Maelor Saesneg, Flintshire.

CONTENT

Scope and content/abstract: Original manuscript and typescript of two books on the Puleston family, written in 1974 and 1975. Also, notes and copies of documents on the Puleston family and on the ancient parish and parishioners of Marchwiail, Denbighshire and on various aspects of the history of the hundred of Maelor Saesneg, Flintshire.
A report on documents deposited in the Wrexham Library by J.A.W. Bate, solicitor in 1962. Short notes on private adventure schools in Wrexham and district and information on baths and bathing in Wrexham in the 19th century and photographs of views in Wrexham.
