CONTENT

Scope and content/abstract: The documents in this collection almost all relate to Harry Gwynn's thesis on John Kelsall. They consist of a typescript copy of the thesis, John Kelsall: A Study in Religious and Economic History with notes, drafts and extracts of letters received and sent by John Kelsall. London born, John Kelsall spent most of his working life in Wales, teaching and in the iron industry. The thesis refers to the diary and records that Kelsall kept of his religious and working life, which illuminate aspects of Welsh religious (particularly Quaker) history and economic history.
